I was working on the inside of a card one day and thought, a typewritten note here would be so cool. I knew I could use a font and just print something out but I decided to start looking for a real typewriter. I could get the true indentation from the keys and it intrigued me!
I checked with my family and on the interwebs but no luck...until I happen to ask my folks who were visiting with friends out at their cabin. A couple days later it was confirmed, they had a 1948 Smith Corona and if I could use it, they were generously lending/giving it to me! I'm going to have to make a whole box set of thank you cards for that gift!
